Hurricane Wilma Cayman Islands 2005

Tom Mann watches waves driven by Hurricane Wilma roll in at By–the–Sea condominiums on Wednesday. The development survived the storm with no damage. Waves inundate The Wharf patio, damaging the bar and decking and surging as high as the restaurant’s main entrance. As waves continue to surround John and Janet MacMillan’s house next door to The Wharf on North Church Street, friends and family attempt to salvage items from the home. The MacMillans had just completed post–Ivan renovations.
