Boys charged in stoning incident

Royal Cayman Islands Police have charged two teenage boys in connection with an incident where another teenage boy had rocks hurled at him last week.

The reported stoning occurred mid–morning 23 November on the George Hicks school campus.

The 13–year–old victim suffered head injuries and had to be airlifted to a Jamaican hospital. He was expected to survive.

The 13–year–old and 14–year–old boys who were charged in relation to the alleged assault will appear in juvenile court.
