Pirates Week will be in full swing in November but a little assist from the community is needed.
“We thank our faithful sponsors for continuing to support this not–for–profit event. This event is funded solely by community and corporate sponsorships so without them it won’t be possible” says Casandra Hibbert, director for Pirates Week.
The festivities run from 12–22 November.
Pirates Week is not funded by the government and each year festival organizers hit the streets looking for corporate and individual sponsorships so that most of the events can be attended for free.
Support of the Pirates Week Festival can be made in different ways:
Sponsoring an event
Purchasing the Pirates Week T–shirts
Donations to the event via the Pirates Week Office
Taking out an ad in the Pirates Week Magazine
Volunteering on committees/ or events
