As a French Canadian from Québec I have been in Cayman many times to celebrate at the Pirates Week and I did not become bad after that.

Like many festivals in the world, this one never turned up to be violent . People were playing and acting for fun only. For me it’ was an exit by letting all the stress of one year’s labour coming out by playing the game with friends from all over the world..

Please do not associate this (fête) with the people who are doing crimes in other countries (Somalia).

There are western festivals in Canada and we are playing cowboy . (The good ones and the bad ones)

I still say that Pirates Week should stay....Arrrgggh!!
