The Cayman Islands showcased its world–class scuba diving at the 2007 SeaSpace dive trade show in Houston, Texas last month.
Held at the Reliant Centre, the Department of Tourism’s Southwest division joined more than 120 exhibitors ranging from luxury ocean side resorts to live–aboard dive boat companies in celebration of scuba diving and active sporting vacations, says a press release.
The SeaSpace show provided a unique weekend full of educational workshops and seminars that ran concurrently with the tradeshow.
The Cayman Islands pavilion housed information on accommodations and scuba diving operators in the Cayman Islands including Sunset House, Red Sail Sports, Little Cayman Beach Resort, Brac Reef Beach Resort, and Cobalt Coast/ Divetech. Representatives from Cayman Airways, the national flag carrier of the Cayman Islands, and Bubble Submarines in Grand Cayman joined as well.
